An Enchanting Experience
<\/span><\/h3> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

\n\tThe beauty of this design is the exciting lightshow painted on the passing trees and foliage that animates perfectly in sync with the lightshow to music around the passengers. Simon has spent many years lighting trees on festival sites and so he wanted to employ his experience of tree lighting as best as possible to this project. The design features some of the most powerful performance LED floodlights in the industry, the key here however is the very wide-angle lenses specified for them. Simon wanted to achieve a two tone look on lineside trees from the passenger\u2019s perspective, this is why the train has just 2 lighting fixtures as side per coach. This makes setting up quick and easy, but the main point being wherever a passenger sits they get a stunning two-tone view of the trees due to light projected from two different angles onto the same spot. By carefully selecting a mix of two colours projected onto the trees passengers get a fascinating view of colour shadows that animate through the branches as the train passes, it really is a mesmerizing sight. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t

It is thanks to the amount of control we have over every light that we can make sure the amount of colours being shown at once is limited to two or three, this is what creates the crisp colour shadowing and stops the effect being bleached out by so many colours creating a white bleed onto the lineside. Furthermore we can control the lights so that we can point passengers attention specifically to the lineside when we want, thanks to mapping where the LEDs are we can just turn off the lights hanging in front of windows so not to spoil the look of the whole train when we do so.<\/p>\n

As a further expansion using wireless technology allows for additional lineside displays to be installed that link up to the control system on the train allowing for an interactive light show as the train passes.<\/p>\n

There really is no contest when it comes to the flexibility of this pixel mapped wow factor light show wrapped around the train. It has so much potential that the train could be presented in a platform delivering a lightshow to music before passenger\u2019s board.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
